Very powerful yet super quiet
Love this disposal. Totally worth the money. I can't believe I lived with a builder grade piece of junk all these years, should have replaced a long time ago. The unit feels and looks well made, nothing cheap about it. The only thing I noticed is that the water in the sink doesn't go down as fast when you turn it on, but that's because it's doing a really good job of breaking the food down in to smaller pieces before it drains.
Make the switch, this disposal won't put your money down the drain. :-)

Quiet & best for a budget
We needed a garbage disp. for our newly renovated home. We wanted the Excel, but got this version since it was smaller and the Excel really wouldn't fit under our zink. We use it regularly and it works like a gem! It's so quiet OMG. I wish all disposals were as quiet as this one. Get it. Try it. You wont be disappointed!

Super-quiet, super-hungry, super-awesome!
As we are first-time homeowners, while I was researching new sink disposals, we decided to splurge a little and get this unit. The 10-year warranty was comforting, but this thing kicks the pants off all other residential units. It's barely audible, it doesn't hiccup or strain under load, and it makes me grin when I use it, you know, like those stupid marketing pictures showing someone unnaturally grinning while cutting a vegetable with a really really expensive knife, or while vacuuming. I totally get it now.

Excellent customer service
Rated quality as good as couldn't resolve a jam issue, however the company promptly dealt with our problem and replaced the unit. We have had no issues with the replacement. Having an Evolution Excel has been a game changer for us as we live in bear country and cannot compost food waste. Our garbage is so much more manageable now. We love how quiet it runs and how effective it handles food waste. We will never be without one.

Wonderfully Quiet
This is the best disposal we have ever had. It is so quiet you cannot even hear it running from the other side of the kitchen 8 ft away. Amazing. Being able to take the rubber gasket out to clean it is a superb feature. We all know how stinky that can get. I highly recommend this product.

Strong and quiet
We are really pleased with our Evolution Excel ... strikingly quieter than any of the many other disposers we have had over the years. It does the job well. We like the fact that it has built-in smarts to handle difficult loads ... auto reverse and its so-called Jam Sensor, which can increase the power when needed.
We bought the optional "air switch" button and are pleased with the convenience. One feature we wish they had on the air switch is an indicator light to show when the disposal is running. The Evolution Excel is so quiet that it can be a bit hard to hear when it is running, especially if the water is running in the sink and/or when music is on. Something like a red ring around the air switch button would be great.

The Evolution Excel is the BEST disposal!
I have the InSinkErator disposal over 30 years in all of the three houses that I have owned. It tackles the job without any problems.
