Description
12,000 SQFT, 28-0-3, It's time to put a stop to weed-infested lawns - take action with Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed. This weed killer and lawn fertilizer utilizes WeedGrip™ Technology to grip onto and kill the lawn weeds you see and the ones you don't. It controls over 50 listed weeds, including clover, and dandelion. In addition, this product feeds to thickens your lawn and crowd out any future weeds. Apply when weeds are actively growing and daytime temps are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24hrs. Do NOT apply to Creeping Bentgrass, St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Carpetgrass, or Lippia. One 33.95 lb. bag covers 12,000 sq. ft.

What happened????
I applied this on Sunday, dandelions began to wilt the next day, temperatures cooled slightly on Tuesday along with very light rain, Wednesday comes and the dandelions are back! Not sure if they will wilt again or flourish but it doesn't look good! Does this last to kill off the weeds? Please advise..

Works good!
This product still works even if it rains after 24 hours after applying. Its says not to do this but it still works. But....Even when you do go by the instructions it will not kill clover. Too bad it didn't kill centipede grass.

Use this every year
I apply Weed and Feed twice a year following the package instructions precisely. Apparently you need to apply it to wet grass, ie the foliage, for it to work properly. And it needs to stay there for awhile to work. (So apply before a bit of a dry spell.) If I get this on in time the lawn looks great and is low maintenance. If I mess up, I pay for it for the rest of that six month period. BONUS: apply just before your lawn is aerated. Even better.

Long Time User Disappointed
I have used Scotts products for many years and have been very happy. This year I used the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed as I always have. After three weeks, the weeds are not any different at best. Normally, my yard is one of the better ones in the neighborhood. People will ask what I do to get and keep it in such good shape. I explain I just put together a Scotts annual program. So, many others have started doing the same. I know my next store neighbor is one of them, and they are also seeing nearly no results.
I have Bermuda grass, and as you can see, the grass has not yet come in. However, the weeds have.

Killed most of my yard, fertilized every weed
I bought and put this product out 4 weeks ago when the temperature here was 68 degrees for a straight week. Against my better judgement I used exactly what the bag told me to on the spreader setting that the bag also told me to. Within 7 days, most of my Bermuda had browned out and died. The weeds however, flourished. It was as if I just fertilized them. When I put it down, maybe a quarter of my yard had spring weeds. Now, Id say 4/5 of my yard is covered in weeds and still spreading. I have worked my butt for 2 years to build my yard up the way it was. Now, because I chose a trusted product from a trusted company, it was all wasted. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Scotts Weed & Feed works great!
I applied Scotts weed & feed one time on my lawn last spring which was totally infested with weeds and dandelions. This spring there's a noticeable difference. Very few weeds and dandelions and the grass looks healthier. I did aerate first, a few days before applying. Will be applying again this spring and fall. It's kind of hard to find the right weather in the pacific north west to apply it more than a few times a year. I'm not big on using chemicals but the lawn needed help!

Poor results, weeds=1 Scotts=0
Applied exactly as instructions specified, even used a scotts spreader. Its 7 days later and my wife just chuckles because the lawn looks exactly as it did before we applied. I actually think we may have even more weeds than we did before. I really wanted it to work as its easy to apply but not happy about performance.

Scotts weed & feed
Used Scotts Weed & Feed about 3 weeks ago with temperatures above 65 and no rain during this time and weeds remain. I have a Bermuda lawn in Arizona . I have used your Turf Builder for years with great results when I lived in Cincinnati but here in Arizona the results are mixed.
